hijab: wear it right campaign!

yes. wearing hijab and covering the chest is the best. i got this campaign image from sister sue anna joe. it is good to have this type of campaign since most of us do not aware of the importance of lowering your hijab. it is compulsory for us to cover our chest. it does not matter if you are wearing any kind of hijab, shawl or tudung bawal. it is still a compulsory to cover your chest.

based on my experience in UIA, at first, i find it hard to do that because i feel that it is not my way. that's very not me, but from time to time, it's like 'dah terbiasa' to cover your chest. and one thing, due to the environment, you will feel embarassed if you exposed your chest eventhough you are wearing tudung. itu aku la. tak tahu la orang lain. and other thing, you will feel safe. memang la orang cakap, 'ala UIA, memang la kena pakai mcam tu'. true. but there must be reasons why they do that. it's a compulsory for us, especially a Muslim lady to do that so that we will protect ourselves from being attacked by the lust of a man. if we tend to make them feel that 'something', the sin will be fallen on us because we allow them to think beyond the limits. so girls, do cover your chest. if you said that it is a little bit complicated because you are wearing shawl or pashmina, it is just a lame excuse. i know it takes a lot of your time. but, if you want, it will not take a lot of your time. why am i saying this? because i'm wearing shawl too.

so girls, make a change. do something that make us a better person. wear it right as been mentioned in al-Quran:

And say that the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms ...
— Qur'an [24:31]

so, lets go girl!

spread this campaign and post the image to your blog/tumblr/wordpress.

Men are responsible for themselves, just like women are responsible for themselves. If a woman is attacked in any way it is the mans fault. It is wrong to assume that a woman brings it on herself due to what she wears.
